A comprehensive visual assessment with contact lens vision and ocular health. We provide adequate training and education on contact lens wear. We prescribe all types of contact lenses such: - soft contact lenses - RGP's (hard lenses) - scleral contact lenses
A more in depth assessment of visual system focusing on the visual skills used in sports (such as visual accuracy or reaction time etc.). This includes solutions such as visual skills training or sports specific sunglasses and tints.
We provide a comprehensive examination to all our patients – no matter the circumstance. This includes ocular health; refraction; binocular vision balancing; professional frame selection and adjusting. This is why our eye examination is 45 minutes long. We do not rush our assessments, so that we can provide the best possible care for every one of our patients!
Yes! We have over 4000 frames to choose from for any type of budget. This includes more than 250 affordable “budget” frames. Our frame room boasts with plenty of higher quality frames; names-brand frames; as well as true vintage frames. You can spend hours looking for the perfect frame… But don’t stress, we will be there to assist and provide expert advice.

We make use of a local lab, however certain lenses/prescriptions have to be specially made or imported.
*Sometimes there may be lens breakages or prescription mistakes. This may delay your spectacle time – however we will keep you informed in such cases
Yes you can. We will just assess the quality of your frame to ensure that we can fit new lenses, and that the frame will last long enough.
*Just keep in mind that if we use your current frame; you will be without those spectacles for the time that we fit the new lenses.

In general your prescription can change significantly every 2 year, requiring new spectacles.
This is only a guide, and more frequent eye tests are suggested and beneficial.

The price includes a full eye test and prescription lenses. This budget price with our wide variety of budget frames (over 250 to choose from) provide a more affordable option for our patients.
Yes we do!
We are contracted in with almost all medical aids.
This means that we submit the claim directly to the medical aid and deal with them.
Note that each medical aid has its own benefit amount which does not always fully cover the cost of your spectacles.
